Hi Finlay,
When we are at our grandparents' house I don't usually enjoy staying inside because it's just such a small house that all six (my grandparents, my parents, my sister and I) of us barely have room to stay. That's why, when they told us we'd go out on a small trip, I was delighted.
Travelling with my family isn't easy since we don't always like the same activities. We always try to go to more than one place each day, so that everyone can enjoy something. But in this case my aunt and my uncle decided this trip.
We went on a cruise and as you know the ship docks in a different place every day. We woke up early to have breakfast and to visit the place where we woke up. Sometimes we could not agree because one of the four of us wanted to eat in the city and the other of us wanted to eat on the boat. The same thing happened with the restaurants on the cruise. Sometimes my brother wanted to go to a specific restaurant because the type of food and the rest of us wanted to go to another, but finally in the ten days of travel we could agree so that we could all enjoy.
In conclusion, we visited many places, we tried different flavors of delicious food, we took many photos to remember it and above all I enjoyed this magical trip more than anything. And although sometimes it is difficult to travel with your family due to problems in agreeing, it is the best there is. I have no doubt that I would repeat it a thousand times more.

It's our fourth day of our roadtrip around Spain and we decided to stop in PortAventura.
We entered the park at 10 in the morning. We went to the roller coasters which had usually the longest lines because there weren't that many people.
The problem was when my sister started getting tired. We weren't even starting and she got tired!
My parents decided to stop for 45 minutes. I told them that we had to get into as many attractions as we could before the crowd entered the theme park.
At the end not that many people entered the park and we had time to ride all the attractions!

I just read your letter and I'm excited to pull out your idea! You can come whenever you want, our doors are always open for you. You should travel by plane, even though it's the most expensive form of transport. We can visit the amazing parades that the Basque Country offers us. You'll have to get used to having dinner late and a very active life. We can go hiking, having a bike ride and many other things!

If you're coming to Spain, I'd recommend you to come by plane, otherwise it'll be a long and much more complicated journey. There's a lot we can do together here: we can go to the beach, visit some museums (trust me there's a lot of that in this area!)... One thing, though: here in summer, the weather usually changes a lot, so be prepared!

It had been raining for a couple of days, so it was nice to finally be able to go outside and have some fresh air. We first went to the maritime museum. I'd already seen it, so it wasn't that interesting to me, but my sister really loved it. We spent about two and a half hours there, walking and walking and walking... you get the point. Lunchtime was near, so I persuaded my parents to go to a restaurant I really enjoy. To my surprise, they actually accepted and we all had a nice time (and meal!). After that, we went to a contemporary art art gallery, which I liked (but still, I've seen some better art. I mean, why do some almost half-drawn lines or geometric figures which I, myself, can also draw, have such a high value? Like, come on!).
Well it was a pretty long day, albeit one I did enjoy (if we don't take into account the seemingly endless walks: my feet still hurt!). I hope tomorrow it's a sunny day, so we can go to the beach!

I like that you're thinking of coming this summer to visit me for a few days. You can come whenever you want, but it would be better if you come in August because there are festivities here in Gernika, so you could come with me.
You could travel with the bus, it is cheaper than the plane and you would be here in four hours more or less. But if you want to buy a plane ticket no problem, I could go to the airport to pick you up.
I can show you amazing places and museums here in Gernika, but we also can go to visit the surroundings. The only thing is that here in summer it is colder than where you live. Yes, it's hot here too, but maybe you will need to bring a sweater or something for the night.

Travelling with my parents isn't always easy, because we don't like the same activities. We arrived in Mandelieu-la-Napoule some days ago. Today, we went to Monaco.
We couldn't find how to get there, and we also wanna go to the F1 tunnel, so we parked the car and we started to walk. We first went to walk and enjoy the city and then we went to see the tunnel of F1. After that we were all hungry so we returned to our hotel, left the car in the parking lot of the hotel and we went to a restaurant.
I'm happy because we don't go on holidays a lot, and I like F1 so these are the best holidays, but it is a lot of time of journey because we came with the car, and my parents and I, we don't have the same interest in music.

I am very happy that you can come and you can come any day you want because this summer I'm not going anywhere just let me know to have everything ready for when you come. Travel by plane and then take a bus to get to my city or if you want we can pick you up from the airport.You should visit the guggenheim museum which is in bilbao and is 30 minutes from my town so we will have no problems arriving and then we could go to the San Mames stadium to watch the athletic game.

Traveling to is one of the best experiences and even more going with your family.Me and my family love to travel and this time we went to one of my favorite places New York. We have been there for 5 days so we have not had time to visit so many places that we would like to visit.
In the time that we have been in new york we have visited museums,we have walked through central park and we took advantage of the good weather to take photos,and we've also seen a nba game between the new york knicks and the philadelphia 76ers.
This has been my best trip so far and one of the best trips I've had.

This day I went to the beach with two of my best friends. We don't always hang around so this day was so special.
First we went to a shop to buy some snacks and soda. We didn't bought so much stuff because we were not hungry at all. Then we took the train to the Perdernales, which is the name of the beach. We took selfies, we listened to music and we danced. We really had a good time. Lucy brought an ukulele and we sang a song by Ed- sheran. Finally, we finished the day by going to a restaurant to have dinner and we went to Lucy's house and had a pijama party.

I'm glad that you want to come and visit me! There shouldn't be any problem if you come on the first week of July. I think there are plenty of planes that can take you here around that time. The temperatures here are much higher than in Scotland so you will have to get used to it. You should visit some of the most famous landmarks in the area, such as Guggenheim, or go enjoy the landscape once you are here. We must go to the beach, the coastal area in Spain is impressive!

We have already spent a month in seclusion due the pandemic. Sometimes I think I will die of boredom. Luckily, a neighbour who has some powerful speakers, has put music for the whole neighborhood.
Everyone was on their balconies having a nice and entertaining afternoon, singing and dancing, on their own or with their family. Some even got drunk!
Well, it has been a great day, one of the best since the quarantine started:

One of the best dates for you to come would be at the beginning of August which is when we could most enjoy both the holidays and tourism.I recommend you visit parts of Bilbao such as the Guggenheim. It is really nice to visit it in summer at night. We could also go one day to the pools that are in Gazteiz, I went when I was little and enjoyed a lot.Being summer dates I recommend you bring summer clothes especially do not forget your swimsuit, although it also brings something warmer for the night. Together we can do many things like going to the beach to sunbathe, going to parties, going to dinner at a restaurant, we can do many things and we will do them.
