Hello here is my blogpost.

When we arrived, it was a very warm and beautyful day. The familys were there to pic us up from the airport. They were very nice. The first thing I did here, was going to the seaside with the parents and my exchangepartner. Then, we went to their home to show me and to have dinner. The next day, we took a look to the school and learned a little bit of the bask language. In the Afternoon, we visited the tree of Gernika and the parlament.
At Tuesday, we made a trip to Bermeo, to see the famous things like the port or the museum of the fishermen. In the Afternoon we visited the museum of peace in Gernika.
On Wednesday, we went the whole day to Bilbao to visit the Universidadde Duesto and the museum of Guggenheim. The museum was very impressive. After that we had a break near the museum. It vwas a very good day.
On Thursday, we went to the museum of cidre and to San Sebastian. Me and some other  guys went into the sea. It was very cod. than, we had a break and ate something. In my opinion, it was the best day of the exchange.
I hope, the next few days are going to be good too.

I hope, we (the german guys) are going to stay in touch with the spain guys.

It was a very nice time!

Dear Marta,

in this post we want to tell you about our experiences we collected in Gernika. Its friday yet and we cannot believe how fast the time passed.
We made many different experiences in a short time. Everyday we did and saw something new which was really exciting. We learned many about the history and the culture of Gernika. At the beginning it was a strange feeling to know that we will live at a family we dont know, but we only made good experiences with it.

The activities we did were mostly interessting and we got everytime new impressions. All the places we have been at had an amazing panorama and luckily we had good weather for visit them and take some beautiful photos.
Everyday life in Gernika is not the same as in Germany. We are not as lucky as the pupils in Gernika because our school day begins earlier then their school day. Also the school in Gernika is different in comparision to our school in Koenigswinter.

We were all very happy that we could easily integrate with the people here. They have been really nice with us and we had much fun with them. Everybody helped that we feel comfortable and it worked!

At the end we had a really good time here and we are thankful for the impressions we got and for the efforts they did.
We will enjoy the next days here and are looking forward to show them our city and have fun with them there!

See you in Germany,

Xenia and Ivanna

So, we have been in spain for about 5 days now and time is absolutely flying by.

Arriving-day:
As we arrived at the airport in Germany we were very surprised about the airplane, because it was such a small one ( Only for 90 passengers ). The flight was good. We were very excited how our exchange-family would be, but we weren`t dissapointed. The first impress was positiv, because they were very openminded.

Day 1:
At the first day we realized that Gernika has a lot of culture, although it`s such a small village. So we visited the tree of Gernika and tried to understand the importance of the tree for the bask people. In the afternoon we had a short basklesson, which was very funny for us, because of the weird (sounds for us) pronountiation.

Day 2:
In the morning we drove to Bermeo by train and admired the coast and the port of the fisher`s village. On the other hand the fishermuseum we visited was not sooo interesting, but it was a good experience. More cluture of Gernika we got at the museum of peace and we thought the bombardement was simulated very convincing.
Me (Johanna) and my exchangepartner Leire went to Bermeo again where we took pictures in front of the famous island San Juan. We had a impressive and beautiful view.

Day 3:
Day 3 was one of our favourite days. We went to Bilbao and took a look at the Universidad de Deusto. After that we visitd the Guggenheim museum. The building and the art inside were very sweeping, also if we weren`t interested in everything.

Day 4:
The Cidre-museum in Astigarraga was an informative experience and the apple juice we drank was really delicious. After that we drove to San Sebastian where we went shoppping and taking photos at the beach.

All in all we have (had) a great time here and would regret it if we wouldn`t have done it.
