                       MY FAVOURITE WORK OF ART

My favourite work of art is called "floating umbrellas". It's an installation which you can see at the Agueda city in Portugal. This installation was created by Sextafeira and the creation is a part of the Agitagueda art festival.
This installation consists of hundreds of colorful umbrellas floating above some streets. They are hung over promenades giving tourists a nice shade and something cool to look at. The umbrellas are situated along a whole street in the city of Agueda. It has become a popular tourist attraction in the area.
I like it because it's a very inovating, colorful, funny and interesting installation, but its a pitty that you can't see it all the year.

                  Traffic Light Tree

My favourite work of art is called Traffic Light Tree. It containing many sets of light , and if you see that , you will think it's a tree. Because it really likes a tree. You can find it  at Londres, in Britain.
Traffic Lifht Tree was created by French sculptor Pierre Vivant , who's famous for his perspective and perception-relared works.
It's a statue for a competition run by Public Art Commissiones Agency .  The sculpture is eight metres tall and containing 75 sets of lights , each controlled by computer. The work of art was installed in 1998 , and was situated on a roundabout near Canart Wharf.
I like Traffic Light Tree , because it's strange to have a sculpture meke of sets of lights.  Though is many sets of lights , but is not difficult to see real signals. It's clear!
