The widespread use of children in cocoa production is controversial, not only for the concerns about child labor and exploitation, but also because up to 12,000 of the 200,000 children working in Côte d'Ivoire, the world's biggest producer of cocoa, may be victims of trafficking or slavery. Most attention on this subject has focused on West Africa, which collectively supplies 69 percent of the world's cocoa, and Côte d'Ivoire in particular, which supplies 35 percent of the world's cocoa. Thirty percent of children under age 15 in sub-Saharan Africa are child laborers, mostly in agricultural activities including cocoa farming. It is estimated that more than 1.8 million children in West Africa are involved in growing cocoa. Major chocolate producers, such as Nestle, buy cocoa at commodities exchanges where Ivorian cocoa is mixed with other cocoa.

In Latin America are childrens of 8-16 years old that they are working all the time without stop.
There are girls that they are prostite to forwars to the family of the poverty. There a lot of boys
too, that they are working when they have to be studing the girls and the boys! In my opinion, the
chlidren they have to be studing, learning, living good without probelms,... This live is very unjust
because they have too, a lot of war. This world all together we have to help and say: "EO EO EO,
POBREZIA ZEROOO"

CHILDREN IN HAITI
Haiti is one of the least developed and poorest countries in the worold;65% of the Haitian population lives below the poverty line.
Indeed, only 40% of children have access to health services. In most cases, the population does not have proper care:health certers can sometimes be located scores of miles from homes.
Although education is " free" in Haiti, only half of all children are enrolled in primary schools. This is bcause 92% of schools are private, leaving most families unables to pay school fees.

Latin Amerika
According
to some estimates made in 1982 by UNICEF, there were forty million
street children in Latin America, most of whom work on the streets, but
they do not necessarily live on
the streets . A majority of the street children in Latin America are
males between the ages of 10 and 14. There are two categories of street
children in Latin America: home-based and street-based. Home-based
children have homes and families to return to, while street-based
children do not. A majority of street children in Latin America are
home-based.
In my opinion, Will and Alice had the most difficult lives
because each day to earn some money for their family. They couldn't talk
or waste any time, and their bosses were very mean; they treated them
horribly. Even though they started working at the age of five, they
still kept working to survive.
South America is a country in which many children work at a young age in many different factories.Normaly they start working at the age of and their working conditionS are very poor. They barely have any rights and they don't get a lot of money for their 12 hours of work a day. These children have got hard lives and very difficult ways to live so working in factories just makes it worse.

I think that Will and Alice are the children that are worse living
because they are only 5 year old children and in their jobs they could
die.
Sanju is a girl who used to work in a rug factory. One day a GoodWeave inspector took her to a school and she never had to work in a factory never again.

CHINESE CHILDREN EXPLOTATION : In some parts of China is normal to see
children working in factories. But that children work 14 hours a day
during the seven days of the week and they recive a salarie of 49 euros a
month and they give them 10cent if they work an extra hour. And much of
the clothing and toys that we have are made for these children.

For me the children that they have the most difficult lives are the
children that they dont have options to study and to eat, they cant it
because in their countries there are a lot of diseases.
Children that do not have water to drink ot to do bath.
Because they do not have any opportunities to be happy.
The education is also important to be happy and to enjoy the life.
