DBH 4, An experience

Alive

That was exactly the word that defined our experience at Samoa.My parents,my brother and I decided to go to Samoa because it is a place that I always wanted to be in.We were there,in that wonderful and beautiful place,having the best summer of our lives.

5th of July,it was a really sunny day,so,we decided to go to the beach.My brother and I decided to play with the sand and while we were playing,we felt a strange movement on the floor and when we looked at the ocean,we look at a giant Wall of wáter that was comming to the beach.We started to shout,everybody scaped from the beach and we were there,scared and hungry,but alive.

After a few days,we returned home,I was a Little bit sad,but I will return a 100 times again because that place,was really the place that I have to be on.

Honshu

On 13th March 2004,my uncles and I were sitting in a Hotel in the coast of Honshu(Japan).

We had been visiting the city all afternoon and we were very tired. Eventually,we went to the hotel room and we went to sleep.

At first,all was quiet. Then, we began to hear the sound of ambulances,we heard the fire alarm as soon as we ran, the workers of the hotel told us to go to the rooftop,since was more dangerous to be in the street that were collapsing,and the hotel was one of the tallest of Japan. After,all of the residents in hotel and workers went to the rooftop.From there, we saw all the chaos caused by an earthquake.

Finally,a helicopter's came and took us to safe place. Right know we are in our house,in Spain. Many were homeless,missing and killed. Now people of Japan and the country need aid. The biggest earthquake which was in Japan. We had luck..!

Sebastian

On 18th of January 2009, my grandparents, my cousin and I were watching a "Star Wars" film in Murcia when suddenly it started raining hardly and wind was blowing very fast, the when the TV channel changed to a last minute new. The hurricane Sebastian was here! We were all terrified. Past half an our the wind stopped so we knew the hurricane was over. 

The next morning we saw all our neighborhood destroyed, including our home. Flood water was all over the floor and it wasn't stopping filling so we decided to climb up to the ceeling cause we knew or house will by filled of water in some mintutes. My little clusin was crying, he was so terrified.

Past an hour in the ceeling waiting for help when we saw our neighbour Pedro on a motorboat. We all started shouting to him. Luckily he saw us and slowly one by one took us into the boat and the to a save zone where we can have some food and water.

Tsunami

The last month,I was in Japan with my friends in Tohoku. Our plans they were going to the beach.

But,suddenly the weather became strange.Then, my friends suggested me that it wasn't a good idea to go to the beach.Because in the TV they told that would be a bad weather and probably a tsunami will hit Tohoku.So,for our security we stay in our department.While,I was looking to the window ,It started to rain and then,all become strange.My friends weren't scared because they were accustomed.For the other side,I was very scared it was my first experience.Fortunately,8 hours later stopped and all of my friends an I we were alive.

On 27th of October, I was to Chile with my father, my stepmother and my brother.   We were in our hotel when an earthquake hit Chile. We were very far, but we could feel the earthquake.

 Some buildings that were nearthe hotel, started to moved and one of them, was collapsed. the policeman, the firefighters, the ambulance and a lot of people. I could see how the peopleon the street ran to a shelter and my family and me couldn´t leave from the hotel because the staffs said that was more dangerous be outside than inside.

I was very frightened and many people was crying. I have never been in a similar situation and  don´t want to repeat aht experience.

MACHUPICHU

On 3th July  my parents,my brother and I were at home watching a film in our house in Dalas,Texas.It was a normal night we could listen the wind while we where watching the film,it was a normal thing to listen the wind,we weren´t worried about nothing.But at midle night while we were sleping the surface started to move,all the things felt down from the shelves,I woke up and I went to the safe room,we had a safe room because earthquakes are normal in Texas,in the safe room I met my parents and my brother.

At first we were nervous,because we weren´t sure about what was happening.After a few minutes everything stopped and we went out to see the dameges of the earthquakes, we where lucky there wasn´t any damage.

Finally we cleaned the fallen leaves and we clean our home.

Hi Jacob,

Last weekend while I was in vacation with my family, in Los Angeles  In the third day, an 

earthquake suddenly broke out. It was a 5.3 in the richter sale. It was the first earthquake

 I had ever experienced! I was terrified. I did not no what to do.

While the earthquake was happening, we all went outside and waited untill it finished. Then, 

the police, the ambulances, the firefighters came. It was a chaos, because of all of the sirens. 

Finally, anyone was killed, just some injured people. 

It was a horrible experience, which I did´nt like at all. I am writtiong this to you, because I know

that you have experienced some earthquakes while you were in Japan. I canot understand how you

could put outwith that.

On 25th of march my family and I we went for some days to a house in a valley near the sea. There the weather wasnt stable there were many clouds and a storm was coming. We thought that wasnt a bigthingbut whenthe rain started we all scared.

At first we had to return to the house beacuse therain was to hard. When we get in home we saw water starting to enter. Then we had to go up thebeds because the floods were getting bigger. We had to pack everything because we needed to leave.

Finally we caled the police and we hadto wait half an hour because the floods.

The 5 of april o 2010 I was with my family at home when we listen from the TV that a terrible hurrrican was coming to my city.

Frist we went to buy food to the supermarket. then we reforced our windows with tables of wood and forniture. When the hurrican comes whe listened how he broked car and things from the street.

When the hurrican finished we went out with all our neighbours to see how the street was. Some years later all was like before the hurrican.
