LUNAR ECLIPSE An eclipse or the MOON ( or lunar ecliose) can onnly occur at Full Moon passes through some of EARTH`S shadow.The shadow is actually come of two cone-shaped components,one nested inside the other.

ECLIPSES

SOLAR ECLIPSE

Occurs when the Moon passes between the sun and the Earth , casting the Moons shadow on Earth . A solar eclipse can only happen during a New Moon .

LUNAR ECLIPSE

Occurs when the Sun casts Earths shadow onto the Moon . For this to happen , the Earth must be physically the Sun and Moon with all three bodies lying on the same plane of orbit .
