The time with you has been amazing and I could not ask for a better exchange partner. I want to thank you for the wonderful week I had and the great expieriences. Your parents were so kind and nice and your sister is the cutest. You tried to give us the best time and it totally worked out.
The experiences we had with the group always were much more fun when you came with us. I expected it to be fun but it was amazing. Gernika and Bilbao are both very beautiful cities and I enyojed how we could stay out that long in the evening and do something together.
The trips I liked the most were the days in Bilbao and the paintball but I enyojed every single one. The things we did after we split up from the group always were so funny and we never got bored.
The food your mom cooked for us was delicious.
And last but not least I could not wish for a better birthday. The party you threw for me was perfect. All of you helped to organize it and it came out amazing. You thought of everything and put so much work and effort in it. I was so surprised because you kept it a secret all the time.
Now I know how the shower works I think I can kome back to visit you ;-)
Of course you are welcome at my house all the time.
I had the best two weeks with you and I hope we will meet again.

Los días aquí en España fueron muy divertido. Lo que me ha gustado más de todo fue la aventura al acuario pero que pena que haya llovido. También los viajes en el autobús a los excursiones fueron muy divertido. Y la comida deliciosa ha satisfecho mi hambre. (Asier, Gozon, Iñigo)

When I first thought about visiting Guernica I had no precise Idea about what thrilling things I would experience here with you.
One of my favourite days here was probably the day of arrival with la fiesta de bienvenida. Everyone brought something like a blanket or food. It was really fun sitting together while eating outside and having a picnic accompanied by a shining sun and some clouds.
Even though the weather did often change from rainy to cloudy to warm and back to rainy again, I was mesmerized by the planted parks as well as by the interlocked architecture anywhere. Maybe a bit too many pictures has been taken by me focussing on that.
In only one week I was able to catch a glimpse of spain and its culture meanwhile it feels like a fragment.
Nonetheless I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for having this exchange, this experiences, this time!

This is the “goodbye mesage” whe have to write so it is not so personal you know… I had a great week , really I swear! I think it was like “the perfect exchange” with many cultural aspects and stuff exactly how the the teachers would imagine. Spending so much time with you, your friends and tu familia made me feel like I was home. All the trips where nice even if we did not have much time for everything, I prefered the trips which were not planed by the school. My favorite trips were of course Bilbao on Friday withyour friends and all the things we did at the weekend. I am sorry that I abused you as mi traductor porqué mi español es malo y no sé como se dicen algo muy simple en español. Your family was so friendly y amable and I will miss you all so much but I think that we will meet again, that was not the last time we have seen each other I know it! Voy a volver o a lo mejor tu vas a volver a Alemania quien sabé… We stay in contact!!!

The exchange programme was a great experience for me and I met some nice people here. At the first day we had a picknick at the europa park with all the students from the exchange. Friday the german people visited the town and did a rallye , later we also did paintball which was much fun even though the spanish students won. In the weekend we did a bike tour at the river, i really enjoyed the beautiful view because the weather was very good and the sun was shining. The traditional basque dances were interestingto watch but i think it was a pity that it had rained all the time. What i liked the most was our trip to Gaztelugatxe with my kind host sister and the whole host family. I could take very beautiful pictures of this amazing place and we also had a delicious lunch there. 
I also loved Bilbao and the big Guggenheim museum, it was definetely worth a visit.
I also think that theexhibitions were very interesting. On wednesday the 10th of april we visited the Aquarium in San Sebastian and although it rained I think it is a beautiful city and i also liked the Aquarium but we did notunderstand everything because the employee only spoke spanish.
all in all i am very thankful for that experience and i am glad that i could stay with my friendly and kind host family. I will miss the people and especially my host sister oihane because i liked her very much

Don't cry while you reading this massage. I don’t have any idea what I'm writing here but I have to say Gernika is a very wonderful place I couldn’t saying goodbye simply. I can tell you that week with you was for me very helpful to do not playing anymore too much CS:GO. You were very friendly and I learned from you a lot of good words like “que apropoche”. That idea with going to Paintball was very cool, we were very bad because I didn’t play seriously. I didn’t wanna hurt you because you’re kids. Iker I hope you can go to Bilbao next year and learn what you want. I’m gonna miss Kai so much. I have to tell you Real betis is not a good football club, pls agree that. Come and join to Barca fans and you’re gonna be fine, trust me.

Muchas gracias, me lo ha pasado muy bien. I liked spending time with you, because we did many exciting activitie like paintball. Most I like the trip to Bilbao because it is a very nice city. The Guggenheimmuseum was very amazing. But the other places where we were are also beautiful. The boat trip was nice even if there were big waves. Also the food was very delicious because it was different to german food and I liked to try it out. I found it friendly of you that you have showed and explained me so many things.
Hopefully we will meet later in life.

The best thing was the paintball. It hurt a bit but was a nice experience.
Your school could maybe improve the food in the cafeteria a little bit.

The time here in Gernika was really nice and everything we did was exciting. First it was so weird for me because the culture here is so different then in Germany but you was always so polite and friendly. The trips that we did was very interesting and the trip I like the most was the trip to Bilbao because the museum, the art and the dog infront of the museum were very beautyful. Every trip we did was funny and interesting. I enjoyed the weekend and when we met the other exchangepupils and also the paintball was great. The funniest moments were when you try to speak German and when we try to speak euskera. So I really enjoyed the time here with you and I like Gernika. We will stay in contact!

It is very difficult for me to have to wish you a good life for the next decades - although we'll write to each other the next time.
Hardly, people don't sense, what a great time they have, having a glorious time. They realize it later.
And we both, we had a nice time:
-The evenings we went together through the town and eating in the Chinese restaurante - I can imagine, the cooks hated us, because we fucked them up with the television.
-The excursions together - to Bilbao, to Donostia, to Gaztelugatxe.
-The Jaegermeister prank.
-Our moments, singing ,,Erika''.
-The times with Zurb.
-Our times, playing PS4 - if you just would have had experiences how I killed myself accidentely in Fortnite.
I cannot say that we had had a better time in Germany (Marksburg, the escape room, in front of my computer, not being able to play Fifa17, bowling center, Cologne, cinema)
The contact between us should be kept until we become old guys.
My first exchange was full of experiences. Therefore I'm very thankful. You're the best. Your family, too.

I had a really good time here in spain. I hope you too.
Your family was very kind and friendly and all the activities in our free time where really good planned.
My favourite trips where the bikes in Bilbao, the paintball and the movie nights at Carols house.It also was very cool of you guys that u planned a surprise Birthday party for Mieke. I also liked the two hours of school we had. It was very interesting to see the differences between a spanish and a german school. Sadly the weather was not very good in Germany and in Spain because I think we could have had a even better time with better weather, but that is okay. All in all it was a very good expireience and I hope that we will see eachother again one day.

Thinking about the exchange is first of all connected for me with the feelings of happiness, friendship and unity.
Telling about all the things we did during the exchange, in Gernika and Koenigswinter, would be too much but I will just pick out the best things; being in the park in Gernika with all the Exchange-people, spending a nice day with my exchange-partner Irati and my best friend in Bonn-city and at home, all the evenings with the spanish people outside or just with Irati at home talking. Just to pick some examples.
But it wasn't just the students who took part in the exchange who I will remember happily. The family of my partner, the people of her music-school, the other people of the school. Everybody was kind, openhearted and smiling a lot.
The third part I will remind myself about will be the nature. The forests, the sea, the hills. But the most beautiful thing was when we went to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe on tuesday evening while nobody else went there. It was raining a bit when we went up to the church and when we went down suddenly the sun came out, we saw the sunset on the one side, the church directly in front of us and on the other side were two rainbows. This breath-taking view made the place even more magical and ancient than it even was already.
All in all I will just say thank you. I will never forget the amazing experiences I got in Spain; my first flight, the nice people, the beautiful nature and the new connections; with spanish and german people. It will be a lifelong memory and maybe a lifelong friendship with my little twin sister and exchange partner Irati.

Me han gustado mucho las tardes de peliculas en la casa de Carol. Pero me ha gustado tambien la excursión a Bilbao.
La mejor excursión para mi ha sido el tour con la bicicleta en Bilbao.

Pienso que es muy amable que habéis organizado una fiesta de cumpleaños para Mieke.
