Mama
Mama its a sculpture made by the artist Louise Bourgeis. The sculpture, which represents a spider, is among the largest in the world.Its made of bronze, stainless steel and marble.
This sculpture has a big meaning for the autor. This spider represents his mother. It alludes to the strength of Bourgeois's mother, with metaphors of spinning, weaving, nutrition and protection. Louise says "Like a spider, my mother was a weaver.Like spiders, my mother was very intelligent. Spiders are friendly presences that eat mosquitoes. We know that mosquitoes transmit diseases and therefore are not wanted."
In Mama the artist expresses his love to his mother and the remebers of how she was.

LA NOCHE ESTRELLADA
La noche estrellada is a work of art made by Vincent van Gogh, this painting was created in the 1889 year. 13 months before of his death. The work is in Museum of Modern Art, New York City.
The painting was made with oil on canvas, cold colours are used in the work, such as blue. The frame represents what he saw through the window in that night. In the picture we can see a town at night with a sky full of star, the moon, venus hills...
In my opinion Vincent van Gogh was a very good painter because he had a lot of imagination. I really like the style he used beause it's very different comparing with other artists.

Been copied by many people. In the painting is a portrait of Margarita de Austria
Surrounded by her servants. In the picture you can also see the painter in the back.
It is a really realistic drawing, because you can see everything, also the things in the
Back of the painter, because there are some mirrors which reflect it.
I think it is a really great piece of art, even though I am not really interested in art.
I think it is really well done, and I like it because I prefer that type of art rather than
Abstract art.

The Alfonso X El Sabio´s sculpture was built in 1821, in Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz.
This sculpture is very realistic and their texture is rough.
The Alfonso X El Sabio´s sculpture is made of bronze and it has got a plaque with a heraldic
shield. It was made to conmemorite the conquist of Alfonso X to the Old Alcanatif (Puerto de
Santa María in these days).
To arrive, you have to travel abouve the Guadalete River and go to the castle that is near the
bank of the river.
I think that it is´t a beautiful sculpture, but it has got a lot of history and that is very interesting.

The Scream
The Scream was painted by Edvard Munch in 1893.It shows an agonised face of a man.The Scream symbolize the anxiety of a modern man.Edvard Munch created four versions in paint and pastels,as well as lithograph Stone.
In the painting it looks like a men screaming and in the background there are two figures with a hat that cannot be distinguish.In the painting,the man is painted in melancholy colours but the landscape has bright colours.
In The Scream,the painter wanted to express the scream of nature or a man screaming because he has anxiety.

Astelehena jai it's an sculpture created by the Basque artist Eduardo Gordo. It's situated in front of market square.
The artist (Eduardo Gordo) want to show the conjunction between the human and the earth.This sculpture is made of iron blocks and culminate in a recess of stone, like a handle. By using different types of local stone, sandstone, marble Ereño red, black marble of St. Euphemia of Aulestia, create links and is rooted to the spot.
I don't like “Astelehena jai” because it's a silly sculpture that is cover wiht dirt and they do not clean it.

Las meninas
Las meninas is one of the most important masterpieces in the history of art.It is considerd the best masterpiece by the artist Diego Velazquez.It was painted in the year 1656 .You can find this work at the Prado museum in Madrid.
In this wonderful drawing,you can see a house full of things and also of people.There is a man and there are five little girls who are wearing wonderful and beautiful dresses.And there is a giant dog which is adorable.
In my opinion,this work is one of the most lovely pictures ever and I really love the colors that the artist has used to paint.
