 in this party there is going to be some bands and a lot of food. We are going to do some games and also there is going to be a riffle of a watch that you can swim with it.

Now a days,almost all the kids are playing all the day with their mobile phones.I think that is time of changing the life of some childs,so I decided to organize a trip to keep some childrens doing sport.This trip consist of taking them to a mountain to pass the day there,I hope that the childrens will pass a great time with their friends and do a different thing that is not playing with the phones.

    This event will take place at Bizkargi,a mountain near Guernica that is located in Morga.Is a very big mountain where they can pass a great time.We will meet at the centre of Guernica,in the town hall,we will be waiting inside.You must be there at 10:30pm in the place that I recently said.I think we will go by car to the beginning of the mountain so when we reach there,the kids and the people that organize it.

    It will finish at 8:00am aproximattely and we willtake them to Guernica.As I said,you have to stay in the town hall of Guernica at 8:30 more or less.

REMEMBERING THE BOMBING OF GERNIKA

As some of you may already know, on the 26th of April 1937, Gernika was bombed by the German. Today, this same day has become a celebration of both freedom and justice, as the town inhabitants remember and cherish their ancesters.

During this day, there are many activities which take place, such as, the morning church, the opening of the peace museum, a salute to George Steer... But the most important moment of the day, without a doubt, is the 4 minute of silence tribute to all of the victims and members who survived this horrible act. The reason why this event takes place annually, is so that the new generations of Basque people never forget their past and everything that they had to fight for, especially their rights. It is also a great way to make money and continue with the tradition of celebrating this event every year.

As a result, the Basque government and Gernika in particular spend thousands of euros preparing for this event, and it has become one of the most important hisorical landmarks of the Basque County. This special day attracts a lot of tourism, which is very important for this small country, and just like the amount of money being spent for it, it has also contributed to making a huge profit.

MY BIRTHDAY PARTY

 Last saturday was my birthday and I was so excited! I'm celebratede my 16 birthday! My 16 birthday, do you know what doest it means that? You only celebrate 16 years once on your whole life, so because of that I wasso excited.

Last friday, I catch my mother an my father planing something, I suppose to be a trip somewere. They also were looking something on the Internet to buy or prepare for the special day. Also when I was at school, at the play time I saw all my friends together speaking very low, in a circle, but at the moment I was approaching they all stop speaking, it was a little beat strange! I was confused.

Finally, the day arrived. It was my 16 birthday!!! My parents enter my room with an enormous cake and with colourful balloons. After having breakfast, they told me to prepare, because they have a surprise prepared. We were to a water park! It was wonderful. And to finsh this especial day my frinds had prepared a special parth with many details, games, food ... I was unforgettable!

 STAR WARS EVENT

The star wars fans have been waiting for a star wars even until yesterday 21rst of January 2018 in the Gugemhein museum. The star wars fans that went to the event could enjoy lots of pictures, costumes, and figures of the whole univers of star wars. Lots of people enjoyed going there because there were fan or just enjoyed the event.

Aproximately half a milion people went to that event including tha mayor of Bilbao to inaugurate the event. The event took 4 hours to finish as it was a exposition. the people that were there worked as hard as they could.the event resulted being one of the biggest events of th year

There are a lot of poor or homeless persons in our town and it is not pleasant to see them suffering and starving. There are some organisations that help them giving clothes and food, but people don't trust them because they think that the volunteers will stay with their money.

To help them, my friends and I organised a solidary marathon last summer, touring all Urdaibai. We thought it was a good idea, because like that, we could publish the actual situation of some people and also we can benefit of it collecting donations of solidary people.

As a result of our hard work, we collected around 200kg of food and a lot of different clothes. Well done!

Hawaian Paty

This is the theme of the party that we are going to do in our "Last year in Mertzede"s celebration.The background is going to be of a strong hawaian man surfing a big wave with some girls dancing at the beach.

The party is going to be in the school hall and in the playgrounds.We are going to put 6 speaker for the music and decorate the places with hawaian tipical things like flowers and tikis.It will be the next saturday with the DBH 4 students and some special guests.

If you can bring some food and drinks so we can have more we´ll thank you a lot.

We are planning to do a dance competition for fun so bring comfortable clothes.

Finally we will anounce the winner and continue having fun until two in the morning!

So invite your friends and be prepared for the best school party of ever!

SELLING BOMBOMS

As you know, people in DBH 3 and DBH 4 participate in an exchange every year. This year the exchenge is to Italy and we have done a lot of events to gather money. One of those has been selling bombons.

Last week, we started preparing this activity by calling the company which sells the bombons. We bought lots of boxes and all of the class sold  at least three of them to family members or friends.

As a result, we earned around 80 euros each so it has definitly been very effective. We all had a great time while doing it so we are all really happy.

 CLEANING THE CITY

     Many people dirty the town but they are some volunteers that they help the enviroment in all the towns. Anyone who is older than 14 years old can take part in these volunteers to hepl the enviroment of our city.

      These event take part every friday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. At 4:30pm those responsable from the event they give all the volunteers that where cleaning the city with them they give for drink water or fizzy-drinks ang a sandwich or cookies and cake.

      The result of cleaning the city was very good but the pain is that it does not usually last long clean and the work of the volunteers is not manteining.

  Homeless animals have been a problem in our town for many years. The animal shelter has done its best to help. However it hasn´t got a lot of money, so the facilities are in a terrible condition.

  many years ago, I and my friends saw many homeless animals in the street, so we went to the shop to bought some food for them every day. But one day, we thought it is not a good idea, because we can help them always. we decided took them to take a shower and take them to a animal shelter .

  They were happy for take care those animals. we also happy for the animals could have good life.

MERTZEDE SCHOOL EXCHANGE

The students of Mertzede School are going to prepare some special activities inside and outside the school.

Some of those activities are a "parade" and they will also sell sandwiches of different types.

The parade is going to be prepared by the students of D.B.H.4 and of D.B.H.3 and there going to participate students of different ages.

The sandwiches will be done by the oldest ones and are going to sell them in the playground time.

Fashion Show

Like previous years, DBH 3 and DBH 4 students, will participate in an exchange. The exchange will take place in Italy. For that, they will collect money doing different activities at the school. One of the activities that they will organize to collect money, is the Fashion Show.

The Fashion Show will be next Friday, January 26 at 7:30 p.m. Both children and teenagers from school will parade. Gernika stores will leave their clothes to those people so that they could show their cloths. 

In the end, the Fashion Show will take place in the Elai-alai so that the students of DBH 3 and DBH 4 could get money for their trip to Italy.
