Tourist Guides

Our DBH 1 class are preparing their guides about their home towns or cities! Read and decide where to go on you next holidays! ;)

  1. I live in Guernica - is a town in the province of Biscay,in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country,Spain.It´s a Gernikako arbola to visit,it is a great tree.
    There are lots of interesting museum.You can go to visit a Peace museum, or you can visit meeting house.
    There are some great palaces to eat in Gernika.In the center of Gernika this a Boliña restaurant and outside has got Zallo Barri.
    If you´ve got time, you can also go on a day trip to Ibarrangelu.It´s about 14.2km fron Gernika,and it,s got a fantastic beach.

    I live in Iasi district (judet) of Romania, Moldova, whose capital is IaÅŸi.
    It’s a great place to visitand , aso you can see museums,palaces…
    There is a palace that was you can visit, has cosasbeen done to Stefan Cel Mare.In front of te palace is a very big statue ,that was made on their behalf.
    There is a museun too ,called Muzeu Lu Ion Creanga .The museum is his house converted in a museun to know how it worked on it his poems …
    It you hongry ,there are a lot of good retaurants to eat han hotels to pas the night .

  5. WELCOME TO GERNIKA-LUMO I live in Gernika-Lumo,it is a town in the province of Biscay,in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country,Spain.
    Guernica is best known to those residing outside the Basque region as the scene of the April 26, 1937,Bombings of Gernika one of the first aerial bomboings by Nazi Germany's Luftwaffe.The best place to visit is The Tree of Gernika,is a oak that symbolizes traditional freedoms for the Basques people.There are some great places to visit:El Museo de la Paz,Jai Alai...There are lots of restaurants:El Zaio Berri,El Boliña...but there are also chineses restaurants.If you've got time,you can also go to the beaches:Laida or Laga.

  6. GUERNIKA


    I live in guernika is in Bizkaia.It’s avery good place to visit.The turists go because it has avery important tree “The Guernikas Tree”and because in 1937 it was a bombing.

    There are lots of interesting places to visit.You can go to the Peace Museum or you can go to the Guernikas Tree.

    The visitors eat in Guernikas Restaurant or to the Boliñas Restaurant.The tipical food of Guernika is the chorizo and a tipical drink the chacol.

    In one day you can visit all Guernika because it only has more than 2km long.

    You can go to Guernika every day that you can!!!!!

  7. Guayaquil
    I live in Guayaquil-it’s the capital of the Ecuadorian province of Guayas.It’s a great place to visit.Many tourists visit Ecuador.There are some places to eat and drink.
    There are lots of interesting places to visit in the city.You can go to the famous church or sit in the protected forest.There is a `Malecon 2000´.`Malecon 2000´is a great place to visit,because many tourists visit this places.Guayaquil has got lots of parks and gardens,for example: the park of the iguana.
    There are some great places to eat ceviche in Guayaquil.The restaurants also serve other typical Guayaquil food .
    If you’ve got time,you can go to Quito.It’s about an seven hour from Guayaquiland it has got the middle of the world.
